Approach
As a trained Integral Coach through New Ventures West (ICF ACTP), I include everything about you and your world in my coaching. That means the things you’re aware of, but also your potential — what can be brought about through focused, skillful methods. We will look at how you represent yourself, but also investigate your social world, environment, habits, thinking patterns, body awareness, and much more.
I see the relationship between coach and client as a true collaboration, one where we work closely together to achieve your desired results. I will help guide you, but will avoid instant answers. Together, we will:
-
Do a scan of your whole person;
-
Identify your strengths and the areas in which you want to grow;
-
Delve into the underlying causes of behaviors that are getting in your way; and
-
Choose practices that address these root causes and support behaviors that will help you reach your goal.
I draw from the latest of what we know about human behavior — including neuroscience — and a variety of traditions. For some, that includes practices like meditation and dreamwork; others prefer a more conventional approach. We will tailor your plan to you. Here are some resources describing a few of the tools and methodologies I can use:
